Verified sales and reverts
Every price, template and product status is read back from Shopify after it is written, so you know the store really changed.
Shopify accepts a write and still, now and then, a value does not land: a variant was deleted, a catalog changed, or another app wrote at the same moment. So Easy Launch does not trust the write. It reads every value back.
Change the store
Prices, templates or product status are written to Shopify.
Compare every value
Easy Launch reads each one back and compares it with what it wrote.
Fix what did not stick
Only the values that differ are written again, then read again.
Saved on the job
“48 of 48 prices restored”, or which ones missed and why.
What you see on the job
- A check card after the start and another after the revert, with the time it was read.
- All good reads like “Verified: 48 of 48 prices restored”.
- Otherwise it lists each miss: the product or variant, the market, what Easy Launch wanted and what Shopify has.
- A revert with misses marks the job Failed, so it stands out on Home and in History.
- History and alerts carry the same line, so you hear about it without opening the job.
Changes you made by hand are kept
If someone edits a price or template during the sale, the revert leaves that edit alone and counts it as kept as edited by hand. Easy Launch only puts back what it changed itself.
| Job | What is checked |
|---|---|
| Price job | Selling and compare-at price per variant and market. |
| Template job | The template each product or page uses. |
| Drop | That each product is Active and on the Online Store, or back to draft at the end. |
