Who we are
Easy Launch is a Shopify app that schedules price changes, product template changes and product drops for Shopify stores. This policy explains how the app handles data when a merchant installs it.
What we collect
Store details: the shop domain, store name, timezone and the access token Shopify issues when the app is installed. The token lets the app make the changes the merchant schedules.
Catalog data the app needs to do its job: product, variant and market IDs, titles, SKUs, prices, compare-at prices and template names for the items a merchant selects.
What merchants create in the app: price jobs, template jobs, drops, campaigns, checklists, launch briefs, settings and an activity log of changes the app made.
Billing status: the plan the store is on and its Shopify subscription status. Payments are handled by Shopify. We never see card details.
Contact details a merchant chooses to give: an alert email address.
Easy Launch does not request access to customers or orders and does not collect personal data about a store’s shoppers.
How we use it
To apply and revert the changes a merchant schedules, verify them, and show their status.
To send the email alerts a merchant turns on.
To draft jobs from a written brief when a merchant uses the AI assistant.
To provide support and keep the service secure. We do not sell data or use it for advertising.
Who processes it
Shopify, where the store and its catalog live.
Vercel, which hosts the app, and Upstash, which stores app data.
Google Gemini, which reads the brief text and the names and SKUs of the store’s products when a merchant asks the AI assistant for a draft. Nothing is sent unless the assistant is used.
Resend, which delivers alert emails.
Crisp, which runs the in-app support chat and receives the store name and what a merchant writes in the chat.
How long we keep it
Data is kept while the app is installed. When a store uninstalls Easy Launch, the access token is removed straight away. Shopify then asks us to erase the store’s data, about 48 hours later, and we delete everything we hold for that store.
Your rights
Merchants can ask for a copy of their data, a correction or deletion at any time. Shoppers’ data requests sent through Shopify are answered too, though the app holds no shopper data.
